-What is the collection 'Route 40′?
-This project done and that I considered was to travel a mythical road that crosses from north to south Argentina, the eastern foot of the Andes. I started my journey in and ended up in Ushuaia Quiaca. A total, I made 5.000 km.
- Why 'Route 40′?
- I was fascinated to know this area of the world, Argentina's. There are many unknown lands, who are still virgins. As a photographer, I thought it was an adventure and a unique project. It's a trip I made only. My job is to learn and understand the world through photography. I found a good subject for trying to understand what they had felt the first inhabitants of the land.
-He says he made the journey alone, but I guess along the way many people would know.
-Yes, clear. When traveling alone just to meet people, at least in my case. During the trip, I met many people who were hitchhiking and when he had car, the gathering and was going home. He had nothing else to do. And thanks to this, I know these people and understand how their lives. Traveling alone also helps in the self. You learn to get along with yourself.
